Same thing...memories from College on my end actually, this game was a hit when it was released (to the point where we would play the demo instead of studying for finals).

Plus, the news for Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company sort of re ignited my passion for the franchise.

I thought it might have had something to do with that news. QforQ is telling me Bad Company isn't doing it for him. I think I'll have to find out for myself. Might be my at work "Warstorm" :)

Bad Company isn't really like BF2 though...at least that's not the experience I had from the demo.

I personaly liked BF:MC the best. Bad Company is probably my least favorite out of the bunch.

Yeah, I keep forgetting about Modern Combat - but that game was REALLY FUN! My favorite bit about the single player was the ability to hot swap between units on the battlefield - it's really a great feature!
