I am officially lost on the story - which is really depressing, because I really started to get into it, but there are just so many different layers obscured by endless subtitles and lots of references to Yakuza 1 (which I never played).
That being said, the game is getting a whole lot more challenging -forcing me to roll through lots of side quests and fetch quests in order to level up enough to hold a candle against these enemies.
I'm also getting a bit sick of some of the side quests like my job as a restraunt manager and a host at a bar.
With all that in mind though, the combat is still as satisfying as ever, especially since I've unlocked the "Essence of Wreckage" (I'm not joking, that's what it's called). It's a combo that you get when your focus meter is filled and you have when you have low health. You basically get an enemy on the ground and if you button mash long enough, you're able to pummel him to death in one go around. Of course, you have to be at dangerously low health for the combo to even work, so it's an interesting tradeoff.
